Well Everyone,
It's about time to release my book, Pirate's Treasure.
To celebrate I will be having a Book Launch Bash on August 22, at my home in Cedar Springs, Michigan and everyone is invited.
It will be a wonderful afternoon full of kids contests, raffle drawings, refreshments, and live music by Ars Nova. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet the author, me, and the illustrator, Jamie Pogue who will be flying in from Pennsylvania.

I'm am very excited to present the cover to my first book, The Traveler's Trunk: Pirate's Treasure. Jamie really out did himself here. The cover is great.

This is such an exciting time for me. The book is coming together nicely. The interior is completely formatted and ready to print. Jamie did a wonderful job on the interior images as well. Once I finish touching up the cover/spine/back, then I'll be off to the printer.

Everything is on schedule for the book to be released in August.

Well, I'm finally settled in my new home. The move has been a little rough and everything has been on hold for about three weeks, but now that things are settled I'm getting back into the swing of things.
I have my illustrations for the interior of my book and I'm putting the final touches on the formatting/typesetting. In a few days I'll have my cover and by the end of the week I should have everything ready to go to print.
This is a very busy and exciting time. I'll keep you all posted.

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself.
I've been a stay-home mom with my three children for several years now. I have enjoyed taking care of them and having the opportunity to spend so much time with them. That being said, everyone needs a little something for themselves too, and that's where my writing comes in. This actually works out for all of us because I write children's stories, and my kids love to hear the stories as much as I love to write them.
Last year I decided that I wanted to publish my stories. I did a lot of research into traditional publishing and self-publishing, including going through a "self-publishing" company and creating my own publishing company. After months of information gathering and deliberation, I decided that I wanted to start my own publishing company to get my books out.
This has been a very exciting venture for me, with each new milestone I feel a great sense of accomplishment. My fist book, Pirate's Treasure should be out August of 2009. It is the first book in The Traveler's Trunk series about Jacob, his sister Sierra, and their cousin Brent. The kids discover an old traveler's trunk in their Great-Grandma Addy's attic. In opening the trunk they open an amazing world of possibility and adventure. I have completed the rough draft of the second book in the series and expect to have it published in August 2010.
